Gain insight on lives of the illusive wild cats of Sumatra and Panama and the research of Dr. Jennifer McCarthy. Learn about the threats these stunning predators face and what is being done to promote wild cat conservation around the world.  

Presenting will be Dr. Jennifer McCarthy, Assistant Professor at Lincoln University. Her research focuses on promoting the conservation of rare and endangered wild cat species around the world. She currently works primarily in Sumatra, Indonesia studying the clouded leopard and several other small cat species; as well as in Panama where she studies the little jaguarundi. Jennifer is particularly interested in elucidating the ecology of rare wild cat species to aid in the development of more effective conservation strategies.
